Demand Increases, Antam Capai Gold Sales 25,931 Kg In Nine Months

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or Antam recorded a positive achievement of operating performance and gold sales for the first nine months of this year. Until September, Antam posted an unaudited gold production volume from the 967 kg Pongkor gold mine.

This achievement is relatively stable when compared to the achievement of gold production in the first nine months of 2021. In line with the production rate, Antam's unaudited gold sales until September reached 25,931 kg. Antam's Director of Operations and Production I Dewa Wirantaya said the company's gold sales until September increased 31 percent compared to the same period last year of 19,870 kg. The increase in sales was in line with the growth in domestic gold demand rates. "This year, Antam has a commitment to strengthening the customer base of precious metals in the domestic market by prioritizing customer safety and trust by continuing to present quality products. The growth in operation performance and sales of Antam's gold commodity in nine months of 2022, in line with the public awareness growth in gold investment. In addition, the maintained global gold metal price level is stable to support the growth in the performance of Antam's gold commodity," he said in an official statement, Thursday, October 27.
