Cooperative Council Of Indonesia, Startup Alpha Millennia Technology Bantu 2,000 Go-Digital Cooperatives

JAKARTA - One of the challenges of the digital economy going forward is strengthening Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and banking resilience. For this reason, the acceleration of the digital transformation of MSMEs in Indonesia as expected by President Joko Widodo is important. Alpha Millennia Technology, which is a technology provider startup for the financial services ecosystem from Singapore which has branches in Indonesia, has officially signed a memorandum of understanding with the Riau Islands Provincial Cooperative Council to jointly develop a digital ecosystem to base 2,000 cooperatives. In addition to collaborating with the Riau Islands Provincial Cooperative Council, Alpha Technology has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Cooperative under the auspices of the West Java Provincial Highways Office. The purpose of this collaboration is to help expand more services to the MSME community that they serve not only to increase their income flow, but by providing more innovative, efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions. Alpha Millennia Technology CEO Raymond Cheung explained that the cooperation established this time is proof of the Company's concreteness in helping Cooperatives to be able to go-Digital. Moreover, Alpha Technology will provide an internal system that can be used by Cooperatives to digitize their workflow to be greener, more efficient and agile. "Moreover, the government is targeting 30 million MSMEs to onboard the digital ecosystem in 2024. Therefore, we are here to be able to help and provide solutions to MSMEs so that they can be faster onboarding to the digital ecosystem," said Byong in a written statement, Friday, October 21. In addition, MSME players must also be digitally literate, digital entrepreneurship mindsets are improved, interconnection and skills must all be carried out digitally. Thus, it is predicted that the potential for a significant increase in the value of the digital economy in Indonesia will reach IDR 4,531 trillion by 2030, and this number will still have to be boosted again beyond around 11 million from the target of 30 million MSMEs Go Digital in 2024.
