Laptop Manufacturer Zyrex Achieves 134.4 Percent Net Profit Growth to IDR 8.11 Billion in Semester I 2022

JAKARTA - Zyrex brand laptop manufacturer, PT Zyrexindo Mandiri Buana Tbk (ZYRX) managed to record performance growth during the first six months of 2022. The company posted a net profit of IDR 8.11 billion in the first half of 2022.

In ZYRX's financial report, quoted on Wednesday, September 21, the net profit achieved 134.4 percent of the net profit recorded in the same period last year, which was IDR 3.46 billion. ZYRX's basic earnings per share rose to IDR 6.09 from IDR 2.95 previously.

The increase in ZYRX's net profit was in line with the increase in revenue. Until the end of June 2022, ZYRX posted revenue of IDR 107.92 billion, which grew 30.55 percent from revenue recorded in the same period last year of IDR 82.66 billion.

In detail, ZYRX's revenue was dominated by local sales to third parties, amounting to IDR 105.87 billion, followed by sales to related parties worth IDR 2.34 billion.

Sales to third parties with sales exceeding 10 percent of total net sales were to PT Dragon Computer & Communication worth IDR 34.62 billion or equivalent to 28.43 percent of total revenue, followed by sales to PT Indomarco Prismatama worth IDR 23.33 billion or equivalent. 32.51 percent, and sales to CV Computa worth IDR 18.72 billion or 19.20 percent of total sales.

On the other hand, the increase in ZYRX's revenue also contributed to several expenses. For example, the cost of goods sold rose 33.03 percent to IDR 86.71 billion from the previous IDR 65.18 billion. Selling and marketing expenses also rose 42.07 percent to IDR 3.05 billion from the previous IDR 2.15 billion.

However, general and administrative expenses fell to IDR 7.76 billion from the previous IDR 8.69 billion.
