Minister Of Manpower Ida Fauziyah: Wage Subsidy Assistance Can't Be Cuted Rp1 Even

JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah ensured that the wage subsidy assistance (BSU) received by workers or laborers should not be less than one rupiah.

The amount of money received by workers or laborers must be in accordance with what is given by the government.

This wage subsidy is disbursed and given to workers for once or at once in the amount of Rp. 600,000. This means that this wage subsidy will not be distributed in stages.

Furthermore, Ida said, if there must be a fee incurred for PT Pos Indonesia, the government has already borne this cost.

The people who receive this assistance do not need to pay.

For your information, the government did involve PT Pos Indonesia in the distribution of BSU this time. PT Pos Indonesia was involved in accelerating the disbursement of the funds.

"And if you have to pay for PT Pos, the cost is borne by the government, it is not charged to the program recipients. So the program recipients receive Rp600,000, no less than Rp1," he said in a virtual discussion, Tuesday, September 6.

Ida also believes that this wage subsidy will not leak.

This is because after obtaining valid recipient data, the Ministry of Manpower will immediately distribute money to the Association of state-owned banks (Himbara).

"We believe there was no leakage. Because the money was immediately transferred to the accounts of the recipients. So we didn't stop anywhere, the Ministry of Manpower didn't stop by, so the money was after we distributed it to the channeling bank, namely Himbara Bank, from Himbara Bank, directly to the account of the worker, the account is the recipient of the program," he said.

"So I believe that it will not leak because it does not go through anyone except directly to the worker's account," he continued.

On this occasion, Ida also said that the distribution of the 2022 BSU is targeted to be completed before the end of this year.

Currently, continued Ida, his party is still checking and screening the data of prospective beneficiaries.

"It is hoped that it will be completed as soon as possible. So that workers or laborers can disburse and of course it is hoped that it can be completed before the end of the 2022 fiscal year," he said.
