The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train, A Special Gift For The 77th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia As Well As The First Icon Of Southeast Asia

JAKARTA - Soon the Republic of Indonesia will celebrate its 77th year of independence. In celebrating this age increase, the high-speed train becomes a special gift and pride for the country.

The reason is that the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train has become the first icon in Southeast Asia. And 12 series of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train, the KCIC400AF series, have been completed and will be officially shipped to Indonesia.

"This train will be sent together with the inspection train or CIT, which plays an important role in ensuring the condition of the rails and supporting infrastructure to always be in optimal condition", wrote the official Instagram @keretacepat_id, quoted on Monday, August 8th.

The KCIC400AF series of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway has also been designed to operate according to Indonesia's geological conditions.

Previously, President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC), Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi, said the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail (KCJB) project was proceeding as planned. This is evidenced by the start of sending a series of Electric Multiple Units (EMU) from China.

"The completion of the EMU and CIT (Comprehensive Inspection Train) manufacturing is proof that this project is going according to plan", he said at the virtual manufacturing completion and inaugural delivery of EMU KCJB, Friday, August 5.

Furthermore, Dwiyana said, the EMU and comprehensive inspection train (CIT) sent to the country today have completed static and dynamic tests at their production sites.

"Until now, the progress of the KCIC project has reached 85 percent, and there are still some tunnel 2 works, preloading, track laying, and station completion", he said.
