JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani today submitted an accountability report for the realization of the 2021 State Budget at the House of Representatives (DPR) Plenary Meeting when the Head of State/President Joko Widodo visited Ukraine.

In her statement, the Minister of Finance revealed that based on the Examination Result Report (LHP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) it was stated that the 2021 Central Government Financial Report (LKPP) received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP).

"This shows that it is in accordance with government accounting standards," she said at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, June 30.

According to the Minister of Finance, the preparation of the 2021 State Budget (APBN) is actually targeted for a more aggressive economic recovery. However, considerable pressure occurred in the middle of the year due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 delta variant.

"Nevertheless, Indonesia has been able to reach pre-pandemic levels in a short time and this is because of the 2021 State Budget," she said.

For information, the submission of the report by the Minister of Finance became the basis for the government to submit a Bill on Accountability for the Implementation of the State Budget for the 2021 Fiscal Year to the DPR to be later ratified into law.

Furthermore, the state treasurer detailed that the 2021 State Budget managed to record revenues of IDR 2.011.3 trillion. This figure consists of tax revenues of IDR 1.547.8 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP) of IDR 458.5 trillion, and grant receipts of IDR 5 trillion.

"The realization of this state revenue exceeded the target set in the 2021 APBN, which is 115.35 percent or experienced a growth of 22.6 percent compared to the 2020 realization. This is an achievement of above 100 percent since the last 12 years," she said.

Meanwhile, last year's state expenditure was stated to reach IDR 2.786.4 trillion or 101.32 percent of the 2021 APBN.

"The realization of this expenditure consists of central government spending of IDR 2.000.7 trillion, and transfers to regions and village funds (TKDD) of IDR 785.7 trillion. "Based on the realization of state revenues and the realization of state expenditures, the budget deficit in 2021 is IDR 775.06 trillion," she said.

"The realization of this deficit is much smaller, at 4.57 percent of DBP (gross domestic product) compared to the previous target of 5.7 percent of GDP," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
