Lack Of Interest, Sri Mulyani's Subordinates Plan To Re-auction Tommy Suharto's BLBI Assets

JAKARTA - The Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Rionald Silaban confirmed that he would conduct a re-auction process for Tommy Suharto's former BLBI assets which had been confiscated by the state.

According to him, the government opens the opportunity to split up a large number of these assets in order to attract more public interest in participating in the auction.

"Later, we will find another way (by dividing the assets) so that we can optimally dispose of the assets and we have thought about this," he said when giving a press statement via virtual channels on Friday, April 8.

According to VOI records, the value of the youngest former President Suharto's assets was recorded as very large, reaching Rp. 2.4 trillion.

The assets of Tommy Suharto confiscated by the task force were divided into 4 parcels of land located in the Mandala Putra industrial area, Bawuan, Cikampek, Karawang, West Java.

The details of the assets are a plot of land SHGB Number 3/ covering an area of 518,870 square meters in Kamojing Village, Karawang, West Java, under the name of PT Timor Industri Component.

Second, the land area of 100,985.15 square meters is located in Cikampek Pusaka Village, Karawang Regency as stated in SHGB Number 5/Cikampek Pusaka on behalf of PT KIA Timor Motors.

Third, the land area of 98,896,700 square meters is located in Kalihurip Village, Karawang Regency as stated in SHGB No. 22/Kalihurip on behalf of PT KIA Timor Motors.

Lastly, the land area of 530,125,526 square meters is located in Kamojing Village, Karawang Regency as stated in SHGB Number 4/Kamojing on behalf of PT KIA Timor Motors.
