One of them is through empowering the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector as an inclusive ecosystem that can realize economic independence for people with disabilities in Indonesia.
"As a Special Mission Vehicle under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, we at the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) have a mandate to improve the economy, including facilitating programs to increase the ability of MSME actors with disabilities to obtain employment and entrepreneurship opportunities," said the Managing Director of LPEI Financing, Dikdik Yustandi, in his official statement, after a meeting with the Indonesia Inclusion Synergy team, in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, March 16.

During the meeting, LPEI and the Sinergi Indonesia Inclusion team emphasized their commitment to jointly realizing an inclusive Indonesian economy, especially for people with disabilities.
Also attending the meeting were Special Staff to the President, Angkie Yudistia, who was accompanied by Assistant Special Staff to the President, Susilo and CEO of Fors Fortis Corporation, Iwan Tirtha.
Angkie explained to LPEI management regarding the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to innovate involving persons with disabilities, families, and communities so that they are able to carry out productive activities by utilizing technology.
"The Indonesia Inclusion Synergy Program always encourages efforts to empower women and activities that involve a variety of Indonesian people with disabilities in MSME production activities, including fashion products, beauty treatments, furniture and other household products," said Angkie.
