JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. reported that the sale of retail Government Securities (SBN) series ORI 021 has reached a transaction value of IDR 3 trillion.

BRI's Director of Consumer Business, Handayani, said the number had reached the target set with a total of 4,000 investors.

"The interest from investors is very large for the ORI 021 offer", she said in an official statement quoted on Tuesday, March 1.

According to Handayani, Indonesia has great growth potential in SBN sales.

"Investors understand that SBN is suitable as one of the choices for customer portfolio allocation, with a risk profile of conservative, moderate, to aggressive", she said.

Handayani added that the company, as the government's partner in marketing SBN, is committed to supporting the economic recovery process. In addition, it is stated that BRI is also trying to continue to build the growth of financial inclusion in Indonesia.

"This is in line with the vision and mission carried out by the G20 Presidency regarding increasing financial inclusion", she stressed.

To note, ORI 021 is an investment instrument that has a fixed coupon (fixed rate) with a tenor of three years and a maturity date of February 15, 2025. The instrument was issued by the government in early 2022.

"In the future, BRI will continue to be committed to providing very attractive and safe investment alternatives. We always try to build and create economic and social value for the people of Indonesia", concluded Handayani.
