Because Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport Is Closed, Citilink Diverts Flights To Soekarno-Hatta Starting Today

JAKARTA - Citilink airline will temporarily divert flight operations from and to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) starting January 26, 2022.

"The transfer of flight operations from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is in line with the Halim Airport revitalization program starting January 26, 2022 as a follow-up to the issuance of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 9 of 2022 concerning Revitalization of Indonesian National Army Base Facilities / Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. ," said Citilink's VP Corporate Secretary & CSR Diah Suryani in a statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, January 26.

Citilink flights diverted to Soetta Airport include flights to and from a number of airports, namely Juanda International Airport Surabaya (SUB), Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar (DPS), Silangit International Airport (DTB), and Medan Kualanamu International Airport (KNO).

Meanwhile, Citilink also diverted routes for a number of flights, namely the Halim (HLP) - Blora (CPF) pp route being diverted to the Jakarta (CGK) - Surabaya (SUB) - Blora (CPF) pp route.

Then the Halim (HLP) - Yogyakarta (JOG) pp route was diverted to the Jakarta (CGK) - Kulonprogo (YIA) pp route.

He said the company would disseminate information regarding the diversion of flight operations either through the website, SMS, email or Citilink social media so that prospective passengers are well informed.

"For the affected flights, Citilink provides handling options for passengers, namely refunds and rescheduling in accordance with applicable policies and procedures," said Diah Suryani.
