Hipmi Central Sulawesi: All Opinions About IKN Must Be Expressed In Polite And Logical Language

JAKARTA - The Regional Governing Body of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPD HIPMI) of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) Province asked all parties to submit comments on the state capital city (IKN) in polite and logical ways and languages.

According to the Head of BPD HIPMI Central Sulawesi, Nadir Badjamal, the debate on differences of opinion must be polite and logical, based on data and analysis.

"Debates on differences of opinion are allowed but in polite and logical ways based on data and analysis. Of course, to develop a region, it is necessary to affirm policies that are also carried out or exemplified by Mr. President Jokowi," said Nadir Badjamal, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, January 25.

The transfer of IKN is not only a matter of physical buildings, but is a manifestation of Indonesia's seriousness in promoting environmental friendliness where green energy is the main priority, so it should be accompanied by the support of various parties.

In addition, participating in the relocation of the national capital will have a major impact on areas that have the potential to become a buffer for food needs, as well as industry for the people in the new state capital area.

Because of this, he considered it as a manifestation of equitable development carried out by the Government under the leadership of President Joko Widodo.

"Because if you want to express your refusal, don't be insulting or racist, be careful in expressing your opinion, we are in line with BPP HIPMI firmly supporting the acceleration of the development of THIS IKN," he said.

Nadir is optimistic that moving the capital to IKN Nusantara in East Kalimantan, precisely between North Penajam Paser and Kutai Kartanegara, will have a positive impact on economic growth, including an indirect impact on economic growth in Central Sulawesi.

Because, indirectly, the capital city will create many new business opportunities, as well as bring in foreign investment.

"Geographically, Central Sulawesi is very close, here there is a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), therefore we suggest that the relocation of the capital city also involves the role of business actors and MSMEs both on the island of Kalimantan and surrounding areas such as Sulawesi," he said.
