Erick Thohir Officially Launches New Logo Of Food SOE Holding

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir officially launched the new name and logo of the Food SOE Holding, namely ID FOOD. As is known, the process of establishing this food holding has been completed in early January.

The establishment of the holding was marked by the transfer of five shares of food SOEs, namely PT Indonesia Trading Company, PT Sang Hyang Seri, PT Perikanan Indonesia, PT Berdikari, and PT Garam to PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) or RNI as the holding holding company for food SOEs.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir hopes that the launch of ID FOOD is not only symbolic because a food SOE holding has been formed. More than that, Erick asked for the actual results.

"I have emphasized to the board of directors that the launch of ID Food is not only a logo launch, not only symbolic, but what the concrete results are, what are the concrete results," he said at the launch of the new logo for the Food BUMN Holding, in Jakarta, Wednesday, January 12.

Erick said that ID FOOD will be encouraged to make improvements to our food supply chain, which so far there is no certainty and no coordination with one another. He also hopes that ID FOOD can cooperate with other SOEs including Himbara.

"I hope ID FOOD has synergized with Himbara, PTPN, Perhutani, PT Pupuk, what? Provide assistance rather than results for farmers, ranchers and fishermen. And there are also correct financing solutions with correct data," he said.

On the same occasion, the General Director of PT RNI (Persero), Arief Prasetyo Adi said that the launching of the new identity of the food holding today was a trigger for the spirit to realize the three objectives that support national food discovery.

"Inclusivity for farmers, ranchers, and fishermen as well as being a world-class food company. Hopefully, the food SOE holding can give more roles to the national food ecosystem, so that it can be present in the midst of the Indonesian people," he said.
