Erick Thohir 'Fixed' Again, This Time Reorganizes AP I's Board Of Directors: Dismisses Director Of Finance And Risk Management Due To Mounting Debt

JAKARTA - SOE Minister Erick Thohir reshuffled the board of directors of PT Angksa Pura I (Persero) or AP I. Erick removed Andy Saleh Bratamihardja from his position as Director of Finance and Risk Management of AP I. The removal was carried out when the company was carrying a mounting debt burden.

"On January 6, 2022, it was decided to honorably discharge Andy Saleh Bratamihardja as Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Angkasa Pura I who was appointed based on the Decree of the Minister of BUMN Number: SK-74/MBU/03/2020 dated March 13, 2020 in conjunction with Number: SK- 208/MBU/06/2021 dated June 28, 2021," reads the official letter from Angkasa Pura Management, quoted Monday, January 10.

Still citing the same source, Erick decided to replace Andy Saleh Bratamihardja with Yudi Rizkyardie Darun to fill the position of Director of Finance and Risk Management of the company.

"The decision of the Minister of BUMN and the President Director of the Company (Persero) PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia also decided the appointment of Yudi Rizkyardie Darun as Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Angkasa Pura I," the letter said.

Based on a search on the official Angkasa Pura I website on Monday, January 10, 2022, Andy's name is no longer listed on the company's Board of Directors. Until now, it is not known exactly why Erick Thohir replaced Andy with Yudi Rizkyardie Darun.

However, the change was made when AP I was carrying a large debt burden. As is known, until November 2021 the company's debt reached Rp. 32.7 trillion. This value is obtained from loans from creditors and investors to the company's obligations to employees and suppliers.

The company's total loans to creditors and investors reached IDR 28 trillion. Meanwhile, the obligations that must be paid to employees and suppliers are quite large, amounting to Rp4.7 trillion.

For your information, before being appointed to the structural Board of Directors of AP I, Andy had started his career in a number of companies in the country. In 2009-2010, he served as President Commissioner of a brokerage company, PT Dhanawibawa Arthacemerlang (TX).
