Helping The Advancement Of Education, Taspen Signs A Memorandum Of Understanding With Gadjah Mada University

JAKARTA - PT Dana Savings and Insurance for Civil Servants (Persero) aka Taspen as a BUMN engaged in social security specifically for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is committed to contributing to advancing the world of education in Indonesia in order to educate the nation's next generation.

This commitment was realized by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in the Human Resources and Professional Skills Development Program.

The signing was carried out by the President Director of Taspen ANS Kosasih with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM Didi Achjari, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta, December 17, 2021.

"As part of the BUMN movement for Indonesia, Taspen is committed to always playing an active role in building the character of the nation's next generation, encouraging the advancement of education in the country and helping the professional development of Indonesian human capital. We have realized this by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada," said Kosasih in a written statement.

“The signing of this memorandum of understanding aims to realize cooperation in the field of increasing the competitiveness of FEB UGM students and students in meeting the needs of the world of work through internship programs, apprenticeships and other professional development programs. Taspen also hopes to collaborate with FEB UGM as one of the best universities in Indonesia for professional human capital development in the Taspen Group," added Kosasih.

Kosasih hopes that these collaborative programs can improve the quality of Taspen's human capital and the Academic Community of FEB UGM to advance the professional world and education in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, Didi Achjari, said that he gave Taspen the highest appreciation for the signing.

"We hope that the existence of collaborative programs such as internships, apprenticeships and professional human capital development will be able on the one hand to help improve the quality of human capital in Taspen and on the other hand increase opportunities for FEB-UGM students to gain professional experience useful for entering the world of work and opening up job opportunities for the best graduates of FEB UGM to work in the professional world,” explained Didi.

Through this memorandum of understanding, Taspen and Gadjah Mada University agreed on a synergy of cooperation in the form of internship and apprenticeship programs, Transfer of Old Age Savings, opportunities to provide references and knowledge-based training to human beings, especially in the field of human resources.

Through this collaboration, Gajah Mada University also has Taspen to improve the ability of Taspen people in sustainable business processes.
