DIPA 2022 Presented By President, Sri Mulyani: Implementation Of The State Budget Can Be Done Early In The Year

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the global and domestic economic recovery entering 2022 is still uneven and even uncertain, in line with the development of the pandemic that continues to mutate and threaten the world.

In addition, the economic recovery next year will be accompanied by the emergence of new risks that must be managed, such as commodity price volatility, inflationary pressures and the implications of rising interest rates in developed countries, China's economic rebalancing and supply chain disruption, and geopolitical dynamics.

"Despite the dynamics of uncertainty, the Indonesian economy in 2022 is projected to continue with a stronger economic recovery," he said in an official statement after meeting the President at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta after the submission of the Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and the Allocation List of Transfers to Regions and Funds. According to the Minister of Finance, to continue to handle the pandemic and continue to encourage economic recovery, the APBN is designed to be expansive in nature to continue its countercyclical function but still pay attention to risks and the importance of maintaining fiscal sustainability in the medium to long term.

"The preparation and determination of the 2022 State Budget is carried out while maintaining transparency, checks and balances, as well as a good legislative process," he said.

Furthermore, in order to support economic recovery, the Minister of Finance explained that structural reform measures were carried out in the form of institutional strengthening, deregulation, debureaucratization, and sectoral support that encouraged connectivity and mobility infrastructure.

"Of the total state expenditures in 2022 of IDR 2,714.2 trillion, IDR 769.6 trillion of the TKDD budget was handed over to governors and regional heads," he explained.

For information, the President symbolically handed over DIPA and the 2022 TKDD Allocation List Book to the Heads of Ministries/Agencies and Regional Heads. Simultaneously with the submission of DIPA, the implementation of the 2022 APBN implementation activities refers to the document.

"We hope that the Ministry/Agency DIPA and TKDD Allocation List in 2022 can be immediately followed up, so that activities for the implementation of the APBN can be carried out as soon as early 2022 so that the community can feel the benefits," closed Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
