Cilacap UP3 Manager, Bramantyo Anggun Pambudi, explained that the network security measures taken were to protect PLN's installation assets so as not to cause greater damage which would certainly affect service to customers.

"AFF foam which is used to extinguish the fire is flying in the air, so it is feared that it will interfere with PLN's network and installation assets," he said in a written statement, Monday, November 15.

In addition, Bramantyo said, to prevent interference from the foam side extinguishing the burning refinery area, the PLN UP3 team immediately checked 80 transformers that provided electricity to around 3.500 customers.

"After the officers checked the condition of the network, we immediately carried out normalization as soon as possible, taking into account safety and security," he said.

Meanwhile, a number of areas that were affected by the blackout including around the MT Haryono Street, Banjaran, Kalisapu Street, Industrial Estate, Flores Street, Kalimantan Street, Perum Sidanegara, Suasa Street, Tamrin Street, Donan, and its surroundings.
