JAKARTA - Former Ngada Police Chief, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmaja deserves to be classified as a perpetrator of dangerous crimes.

The Indonesian people were again shocked by the unpleasant news. Former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar was arrested after being suspected of being involved in drug abuse cases, sexual violence against minors, and pornography.

After being arrested on February 20, he is now being taken to Jakarta for questioning by the Police Propram Division. The urine test results showed Fajar was positive for drugs.

For the alleged sexual violence case committed by Fajar, he has moved up to the investigation level since March 4, 2025, but he has not been named a suspect even though the police have examined nine witnesses.

According to Reza, the presence of three children in one single episode of sexual violence cases is a crime that is not far-fetched, and indicates Fajar's level of courage and feasibility in committing sexual crimes against children or KSA.

Reza also suspected that there might be other children who were also eaten by Fajar.

"In one hit, it immediately preyed on three children. This shows how he has learned to commit crimes so viciously, he is fluent, and believes in bringing in three children as the targets of his crimes," Reza told VOI.

University of Indonesia criminologist Ardi Putra suspects that Fajar has a pedophilia disorder. This is a psychosexual disorder characterized by strong sexual attachment to minors.

Ardi explained that pedophilia entered into trouble if the perpetrator acted based on sexual urges uncontrollably.

However, regarding the possibility of the suspect suffering from a pedophile disorder, Reza denied the allegation. This is because of the news that said Fajar had also paid adult women for sex services.

"This indicates that F's appetite for children is not exclusive," he said.

If one of the victims of F is a menstrual child. So, F also cannot be called a pedophilia disorder. The requirement for pedophilia is a pre-pubertas-age child," Reza added.

In Indonesia, said Reza, there are several special laws, namely the Child Protection Law, the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence, as well as the Narcotics Law and the Psychotropic Law.

The crimes related to the four laws, according to Reza, are included in serious crimes so that FW must be subject to multiple articles of serious crimes committed and deserve to be classified as perpetrators of dangerous crimes.
