The National Police has named 5 suspects in the circulation of drugs at Five Stars Bali.

JAKARTA - The Narcotics Crime Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has named five suspects in a case of alleged drug trafficking at the Five Stars nightclub, Denpasar, Bali.

Director of Narcotics Crime (Dirtipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, said that the five suspects, namely PS as a distributor, YH alias Ucok as a supplier, GM as a supplier, DP as a supplier, and EF as a helper distributor.

In addition, investigators also included two people in the search for people (DPO), namely Kuncir as the controller and Wahyu alias Casper as the provider of goods.

Eko explained that the discovery of the drug trafficking case in the THM began with information from the community. Then, the joint team of Subdit IV and the NIC Task Force of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police carried out the disclosure on Friday (7/8).

When the team carried out an undercover buy or disguise, investigators found that the PS suspect as a security guard was carrying goods suspected of being ecstasy.

From the interrogation, PS admitted that he got the illegal goods from YH alias Ucok to be distributed at Five Stars. PS also admitted that he was helped by suspect EF to distribute ecstasy.

"According to PS's statement, when he was in front of the bathroom, he was approached by EF and said 'There is a guest looking for fish in VIP 1', said Eko.

The ecstasy was sold at a price of Rp. 900,000 per piece and the PS suspect received a reward of Rp. 50,000 each time he delivered it to the guest who ordered it.

During the development, investigators secured YH alias Ucok. The suspect admitted that he had been distributing ecstasy at Five Stars for two months. The illegal goods he distributed were obtained from suspect GM.

In addition, investigators also arrested suspects GM and DP. Both admitted to investigators that they were recruited by Casper to distribute narcotics at Five Stars.

Meanwhile, Casper and Kuncir who were included in the DPO, were controllers of the same network to provide narcotics at Five Stars.

"GM gets goods from Kuncir, where Kuncir every day gives goods of 15-25 ecstasy per day to YH and DP, which are handed over in the back corridor to avoid CCTV," said Eko.

From distributing narcotics, the suspects YH alias Ucok, GM, and DP received money from Casper.

In addition to naming the suspects, investigators also seized a number of evidence, including a number of ecstasy, one clip of methamphetamine, to cash worth tens of millions of rupiah.

Eko said that at present the suspects have been taken to the Dittipidnarkoba office of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Jakarta. For the next step, investigators continue to develop to arrest Casper and Kuncir who are included in the DPO.
