Police Chase Supplier of Drugs from Cirebon Who is Allegedly Controlling a Network in North Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sunda Kelapa Police Sub-district is still hunting for a man with the initials P who is suspected of being the main supplier of methamphetamine to two dealers operating in the North Jakarta area.

Kanit Reskrim Polsek Kawasan Sunda Kelapa AKP Eri Suroto said P was suspected to be from the Cirebon area and has now been included in the Missing Persons List (DPO).

"Two perpetrators with initials MR and WF admitted that they got the goods from someone with the initials P who came from the Cirebon area," said AKP Eri to reporters, Wednesday night, July 29, 2026.

Based on the results of the examination of WF alias Wendy alias Ncek, the suspect cooperated with P in distributing methamphetamine using a salary or wage system.

According to AKP Eri, WF received a payment of between IDR 2 million to IDR 4 million each time they managed to distribute narcotics. The wages were transferred through a digital financial application.

"In addition to receiving money, the suspects also received methamphetamine as additional wages to be consumed themselves," he said.

Previously, the police arrested MR alias Konde (29) and WF alias Wendy alias Ncek (32) at a rented house in Gang Haji Jikih, Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

From the arrest, the police confiscated 10 packages of 1.95 grams of methamphetamine belonging to MR, one package of 100.50 grams of methamphetamine and another package weighing 4.94 grams belonging to WF. The police also secured four mobile phones, two digital scales, cash from the sale of narcotics, and a number of equipment allegedly used to package methamphetamine.

Currently, investigators are still developing the case to uncover the supplier network suspected of supplying methamphetamine to the North Jakarta area.

Both suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and/or Article 609 paragraph (1) letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
