Vice President Gibran Reviews MIN 1 Rokan Hilir to Promote the Fulfillment of Educational Facilities

JAKARTA - Vice President (Wapres) Gibran Rakabuming reviewed the State Ibtidaiyah Madrasah (MIN) 1 Rokan Hilir, Riau to see the progress of school renovations as part of the Fast Best Results Program (PHTC) and encourage the fulfillment of educational facility needs.

Vice President Gibran had a dialogue with the Head of MIN 1 Rokan Hilir Arniyeti regarding the need for additional study rooms and a number of supporting facilities so that teaching and learning activities could take place more optimally.

"We lack classrooms, there are three classes, then there is no hall, no mosque, then there is a computer lab, that is our priority," said Arniyeti when the Vice President conducted an inspection on Friday, July 17.

Responding to this, the Vice President discussed with regional devices and work units of the Ministry of Public Works regarding the possibility of developing school facilities, including the use of land around the location.

In addition to reviewing the physical development of the school, the Vice President also greeted the students. According to Arniyeti, the Vice President also paid attention to the condition of school equipment used by students.

"Then he looked at the children again, wearing clothes, some of which were different colors, so he said that this was bought for the children later," said Arniyeti.

Through this review, the government continues to strive to ensure that the improvement of the quality of education is not only carried out through the rehabilitation of school buildings, but also by fulfilling supporting facilities that are in accordance with the needs of the learning process.

The school rehabilitation and renovation program, which is part of the PHTC, is in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's direction to strengthen the quality of education through the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure.
