He explained that the details of the case disclosure included 2 cases handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kaltara Police, 13 cases in the Bulungan Police, 21 cases in the Tarakan Police, 10 cases in the Nunukan Police, 8 cases in the Malinau Police, and 4 cases in the Tana Tidung Police.
"Of the total cases handled, 24 cases have been referred to the Public Prosecutor (JPU), 9 cases have been discontinued through the Surat Perintah Penghentian Penyidikan (SP3) mechanism, while the other 25 cases are still in the investigation process," explained Kombes Yudhistira.
He added that the Kaltara Police also formed a Rapid Response Unit (URC) which was tasked with responding to reports of street crimes 24 hours a day.
