Iranian media reported that Araghchi went to Pakistan on a short trip of 3 countries.

JAKARTA - Iranian Foreign Minister (Menlu) Abbas Araghchi is reported to have departed for Islamabad, Pakistan on Friday evening, April 24.

CNN International reported that there was news that Araghchi was going to Islamabad on a short trip to three countries.

Iranian government media reported that Araghchi would embark on a "round trip" to Islamabad; Pakistan, Muscat; Oman and Moscow; Russia, starting on Friday evening, April 24.

However, Pakistani government sources estimate that Araghchi in Islamabad will discuss the second round of US-Iranian negotiations.

Araghchi's flight to Pakistan was also reported to be accompanied by a small Iranian delegation.

The sources added that US logistics and security teams were already in Islamabad to facilitate the negotiation process.

However, neither the US nor Iran has made any public comments on this matter.
