Momentum Idulfitri, PDBN, PGSI and RSINU Gandeng Bank BTN, Held the Second Phase of Free Mass Circumcision

DEMAK - Child health, is a serious concern for PDBN (Paguyuban Demak Bintoro Nusantara) which is headed by a national figure, Drs. H. Fathan Subchi, S.Ag, M.AP, CIISA, ChFA, CSFA, QIA, Member of VI BPK RI and as a donor.

"Through the intensive humanitarian mass circumcision for hundreds of children, it is hoped that it will relieve the economic burden of parents in the Demak regency area and its surroundings, because the circumcision participants also receive a package of sarung, clothes, pecis and pocket money".

This was conveyed by H. Fathan Subchi, through the implementation coordinator of the Humanitarian Activity, Noor Salim who is also the chairman of the Demak Regency PGSI DPD, while giving the opening remarks, at the RSINU Demak Regency Hall, Central Java, which is located in Jogoloyo, Wonosalam Demak, Sunday (12/4/2026).

Present from the Fathan Subchi team, HM. Qomaruddin and Mustaqim, as well as PGSI volunteers, PDBN also included the head of RSINU.

Meanwhile, Moch. Ridhwan, as the chairman of the committee, was unable to attend because he was busy in Jakarta.

Through a WhatsApp message, Moch. Ridhwan, who is also the head of the Communication Division of PDBN & Deputy Secretary General, conveyed that, in 2026, PDBN will carry out humanitarian action.

"Alhamdulillah, for the support from the Chairman of the PDBN, in 2026 this PDBN gas poll, in a row, has carried out humanitarian care. Starting from the distribution of 1,000 food packages, mass circumcision for 200 children in 2 stages, free homecoming 10 Buses, and Halal Bihalal in Ciawi, Bogor," wrote Ridhwan.

The Director of NU RSI, dr. H. Abdul Azis, who was represented by the Head, Maryanto, explained the importance of circumcision for children, because it is related to health and the Prophet's Sunnah.

"With circumcision, children's hygiene and health are better maintained. On the one hand, circumcision is also part of the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as well as a natural practice rooted in the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim AS," explained Maryanto.

Meanwhile, one of the circumcision participants from Bintoro Demak, Aditya Ainurrahman, expressed his happiness to be circumcised.

"I am grateful and very happy because I can be circumcised for free and can get a package of sarung, clothes, peci and money," said Aditya.

As previously reported, PDBN, PGSI together with RSINU partnered with Bank BTN to carry out humanitarian activities in the form of the 1st stage of free mass circumcision, on Sunday, January 31, 2026, along with the distribution of 1,000 food packages for flood-affected residents in the Demak Regency area.

The second phase of mass circumcision was carried out today, Sunday (12 April 2026), at RSINU Demak.
