KPK is looking for another Ministry of Manpower official who is suspected of accepting extortion money for K3 certification.

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the flow of money allegedly related to extortion of the management of safety and security certificates (K3) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker). Investigators will not stop even though they have appointed three new suspects in this case.

"This will continue to be investigated, including whether there are still other roles or other parties who are suspected of being enriched or receiving a number of money flows from the process of issuing this K3 certification," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters quoted on Thursday, February 26.

Regarding the flow of money, Budi said, it was also investigated from the examination of witnesses on Wednesday, February 25. Those who were asked for information were the Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Cris Kuntadi, the Construction Supervisor of the Building Directorate of PNK3 Kemnaker Daafi Armanda, the PPPK General Bureau of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Manpower Dayoena Ivon Muriono, and the head of SAV Money Changer.

"Investigators also examined a number of witnesses who were investigated in relation to the process of appointing civil servants from parties who were named as suspects in the K3 case at the Ministry of Manpower," he said.

As previously reported, the KPK has named 11 suspects related to the alleged extortion of occupational safety and health certificates (K3). This determination began with a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) which netted 14 people, including Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer.

The following is a list of suspects designated by the KPK: 1. Irvian Bobby Mahendro as Coordinator for Institutional and Personnel K3 years 2022-2025; 2. Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra as Coordinator for Testing and Evaluation of Occupational Safety and Health Competence from 2022 to the present; 3. Subhan as Sub-Coordinator for Occupational Safety of the Bina K3 Division. 2020-2025; 4. Anitasari Kusumawati as Coordinator for Partnership and Occupational Health Personnel from 2020 to the present; 5. Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan as Deputy Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia from 2024 to 2029; 6. Fahrurozi as Director General of Binwasnaker and K3 in March 2025 to the present; 7. Hery Sutanto as Director of Institutional Development from 2021 to February 2025; 8. Sekarsari Kartika Putri as sub-coordinator; 9. Supriadi as coordinator; 10. Temurila as PT KEM Indonesia; and 11. Miki Mahfud as PT KEM Indonesia.

This case then developed and the KPK named three other people as suspects. They are Chairul Fadly Harahap as Secretary of the Directorate General of Manpower and Occupational Safety and Health Supervision (Binwasnaker and K3) of the Ministry of Manpower; Haiyani Rumondang as Director General (Dirjen) of Manpower and K3 Supervision; and Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga as former Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Manpower.

The three are suspects because they are suspected of enjoying the flow of extortion money. Their involvement was discovered by investigators after examining a number of witnesses and suspects who had been previously appointed.
