JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined Ferry Septha Indrianto who is the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Surakarta City, Central Java today.

He was questioned as a witness in the case of bribery for the construction of a railway line by the Director General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) for East Java. The examination was carried out at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"In this case, the witness FER is a contractor," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Wednesday, February 11.

In this examination, continued Budi, investigators investigated several information. Including the issue of arranging the auction.

Ferry was examined to complete the case file of Sudewo as a former member of Commission V of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2020-2024.

The inactive Regent of Pati was known to be a suspect in the DJKA bribery case after being caught in a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) and was named a suspect in the alleged extortion of filling village apparatus positions in Pati Regency. "This examination is for the SDW suspect," said Budi.

As previously reported, the KPK had previously examined Sudewo in the DJKA bribery case on September 22, 2025. He was questioned about the arrangement of the auction to the alleged provision of project fees for the construction of a railway line at the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).

Meanwhile, Sudewo, after being examined by investigators, chose to be stingy. The Gerindra Party politician underwent an examination from 09.45 WIB to 15.03 WIB at the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"I was asked for information regarding the train," Sudewo told reporters at the location.

Sudewo also claimed that there was no refund after being examined by the KPK. However, this explanation was delivered incompletely because the aides accompanying him actually hindered the work of reporters at the location.
