TANJUNG SELOR - The North Kalimantan High Court (Kejati) Special Criminal Investigation Team (Pidsus) carried out a search at four provincial government (Pemprov) offices in North Kalimantan and one Office of the Mineral and Coal Mining Supervision Representative (Minerba) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The Head of Legal Information of the Kaltara Regional Prosecutor's Office, Andi Sugandi, revealed that the search took place from 09.00 Wita to 17.30 Wita, Wednesday, February 11, directly led by the Special Criminal Action Assistant (Aspidsus) of the Kaltara Regional Prosecutor, Samiaji Zakaria.

"This activity is part of the investigation process for alleged corruption in the mining sector in the Kaltara Province," said Andi.

The four departments that became the location of the search were the Investment and One-Stop Service (DPMPTSP), the Forestry Service (Dishut), the Environment Service (DLH), and the Energy and Mineral Resources Service (ESDM) of the Kaltara Province. Based on the letter of Determination number 3/PenPid.Sus-TPK-GLD/2026/PN Smr, which was signed by the Deputy Chairman of the Samarinda Corruption Court, authorized the investigators of the Kaltara Prosecutor's Office to carry out searches at a number of regional and vertical agency offices located in Tanjung Selor.
