The ministry said the king accepted the invitation "to join the Peace Council, and the related documents, which are currently being reviewed in accordance with internal legal procedures."
"Jordan appreciates President Trump's leadership role in achieving a ceasefire in Gaza, launching a comprehensive peace plan, and his efforts to achieve security, stability, and peace," the statement said.
