Prosecutor's Office Not Present, Pretrial 2 Members Of The NTB DPRD Suspects Of Gratification Are Postponed

JAKARTA - The Mataram District Court (PN) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), has rescheduled the pretrial hearing of two suspects in the NTB DPRD gratification case in 2025.

The two members of the NTB DPRD who are suspects in this case are Indra Jaya Usman alias IJU and Hamdan Kasim alias HK.

"Because the NTB Prosecutor's Office as the respondent was not present, the trial was postponed from what was supposed to be on the 9th yesterday, so December 16, 2025 tomorrow," said Mataram District Court Spokesperson Kelik Trimargo in Mataram, Thursday, confiscated by Antara.

The classification of pretrial cases from the two legislative members is related to whether or not the status of the suspect is valid.

The head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Wahyudi, responded casually to the pretrial of the suspects, both IJU and HK, and Muhammad Nashib Ikroman alias MNI which was scheduled by the court on Friday 12 December.

According to him, pretrial is the right of every suspect. Wahyudi stated that his party as the respondent was ready to face the pretrial.

"We respect and respect (pretrial). The point is, investigators are ready to submit data in court later. We have prepared it," he said.

Despite the pretrial filing, Kajati NTB ensured that the investigation into the NTB DPRD gratification case would continue without obstacles.

In the ongoing legal process, the prosecutor's office has obtained evidence from the examination of witnesses and the collection of related documents.

There is also evidence in the form of cash of at least Rp. 2 billion received from the deposit of dozens of members of the NTB DPRD who received bribes.
