Bulog Tanjungpinang Rice Stock Is Safe Until Eid 2026

TANJUNGPINANG Head of Perum Bulog Tanjungpinang Branch, Riau Islands Province, Arief Alhadihaq ensures that the government's reserve rice stock (CBP) or rice for the Food Supply and Price Stabilization Program (SPHP) is safe and sufficient until Eid Al-Fitr 1447 H.

Arief said the stock of CBP rice in Bulog Tanjungpinang Warehouse currently reaches 2,000 tons, enough to meet the needs of the next four months.

"If demand is high, at the beginning of next year we will apply for additional SPHP rice to the center," he said in Tanjungpinang, Antara, Thursday, December 11.

The demand for SPHP rice in the working area of Tanjungpinang City and Bintan Regency is fairly high, reaching 100300 tons per month.

In the past week, the demand for Bulog medium rice increased from 30 tons to 50 tons in line with the increasing needs of the community ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The price of SPHP rice is still stable at IDR 65,500 per package of five kilograms, according to the highest retail price (HET).

Bulog Tanjungpinang also ensures that the supply of SPHP rice in the archipelago, namely Anambas Regency and Lingga Regency, is safe for the next four months. Stock in Anambas is recorded at 350 tons, while in Lingga it is 450 tons, with monthly demand below 100 tons.

Arief added that public trust in Bulog's SPHP rice is still high thanks to its good quality and affordable prices, especially for residents on small islands. The existence of SPHP rice is considered to help maintain food price stability, especially entering a period of price increases ahead of Christmas and New Year.

"Bulog together with local governments also carry out cheap food movements to maintain people's purchasing power by the end of the year," said Arief.

Selain beras CBP, Bulog Tanjungpinang juga menambah stok beras premium sebanyak 24 ton serta minyak goreng MinyaKita sebanyak 24 ribu liter guna memperkuat pasokan pangan menyambut perayaan akhir tahun.

In addition to CBP rice, Bulog Tanjungpinang also added 24 tons of premium rice and 24 thousand liters of Minya Kita cooking oil to strengthen food supply to welcome year-end celebrations.
