JAKARTA - The case of abuse of campus juniors allegedly carried out by Co-Ass Arya Erdhafin student at a university in Central Jakarta is again undergoing a follow-up trial at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN).

After undergoing an hour's trial, the defendant who previously did not admit to committing serious abuse and instead reported back the victim with the same sentence to the police.

The defendant Arya finally apologized publicly to the victim and his family after undergoing trial.

"Through this statement, I sincerely apologize to Abi, a student at the medical faculty of Yarsi University who is my level sister for my actions to abuse Abi," said the defendant Arya Erdhafin in a video statement received on Wednesday, December 10.

Dari pernyataan terdakwa Arya Erdhafin tersebut, dirinya juga membenarkan adanya penganiayaan yang dilakukan kepada korban berinisial AFS alias A hingga mengalami luka dan harus menjalani perawatan di Rumah Sakit Islam.

"The persecution was carried out in my boarding house, at the east cempaka white boarding house 7, Jakarta Putih. This resulted in Abi fainting and being taken to the emergency room at the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital," said the defendant.

The defendant, who has been detained by the prosecutor since October 29, finally admitted his mistake. He admitted that he made a mistake because the victim was considered to have damaged his love affair with his lover.

"I did this persecution because my girlfriend officially cut off our love affair. For my bad prejudice, I abused Abi by beating his repeatedly repeatedly in the face, kicking his head, kicking his genitals, causing Abi to faint," he said.

In addition, the defendant also admitted to making a false report to the police if he also experienced abuse by the victim.

Even though the wound was carried out by himself and made a post-mortem which was made into the defendant, some evidence made a police report even though the victim did not fight back.

The defendant also apologized to the university for bullying the victim and he was ready to accept any sanctions.

"I apologize profusely and admit my mistake and promise not to repeat it again. I am ready to accept sanctions in the future if I commit a similar act. (I) regret it," said the defendant.

The victim's attorney, Muhamad Ridho Hakiki, who immediately heard the defendant's statement, admitted that he suspected that the police report made by the defendant against his client was full of irregularities.

"Because the victim did not admit to resistance at all from the start when he was persecuted by the defendant," said Edo, his nickname, Wednesday, December 10.

Edo also confirmed that the engineering injuries were carried out on the defendant's body, as he admitted, who carried out the post-mortem and received the police report, it was known that there were many discrepancies between the minutes of the victim's case and the witness who saw the incident.
