In addition to the three figures, PBNU officials such as Rais Aam PBNU Miftachul Akhyar, Deputy Rais Aam Zulfa Mustofa, Deputy Rais Aam Afifudin Muhajir, Rais Syuriyah M. Nuh, to PBNU Deputy Rais as well as MUI Chairman Anwar Iskandar, as well as a number of other high-ranking officials.

Mukri said the plenary meeting was a constitutional forum that had an important role in ensuring the continuity of organizational leadership in accordance with the rules and governance of the congregation.

He emphasized that PBNU's position was related to the dynamics of leadership which later became public attention. According to him, the decision of the PBNU Sharia to dismiss Yahya Cholil Staquf from the position of General Chair was a final and binding decision.

Meanwhile, Rais Aam PBNU Miftachul Akhyar said Syuriyah was the highest authority in PBNU. This plenary meeting, he said, was to strengthen and maintain the supremacy of PBNU Syuriyah.

"Strengthening and maintaining the supremacy of sharia is something we cannot just ignore. Even though there are still movements," he said.

Previously, PBNU General Chair Yahya Cholil Staquf considered the PBNU Plenary Meeting invalid and violated the organization's AD/ART.

Gus Yahya views PBNU's plenary session as just a political maneuver, especially as he is carrying out organizational transformation. He sees that there are parties who do not like the transformation.

He emphasized that De Facto and De Jure, he will continue to serve as General Chair of PBNU. If you want to remove it, it must go through an organizational AD/ART mechanism, namely a congress.

Thus, he said, the plenary meeting which would appoint the PBNU General Chairperson (Pj) to replace him was invalid.

"Whatever people want to stop me without a congress, without the highest deliberation forum it is impossible to execute because it is against the AD / ART and against the law," said Gus Yahya.
