Firefighters Had Difficulty Reaching The 6th Floor Of The Terra Drone Kemayoran Building

The thick puffs of smoke left inside the Terra Drone building made it difficult for firefighters to evacuate and search each floor of the building on Tuesday, December 9, afternoon.

From VOI's observation at the location, at 16.46 WIB, firefighters are still combing the 5th floor and above. While the number of buildings is 7 floors.

"Joint officers, especially firefighters, are still fighting hard to penetrate the 6th floor. The condition towards the 6th floor is quite heavy (a lot of smoke)," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to VOI at the location of the fire.

Meanwhile, the Puslabfor team at the National Police Headquarters has also been at the location of the fire. They are waiting for the evacuation process carried out by the firefighters to finish at the fire location, so that the Forensic Laboratory can conduct a crime scene investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.

"Please pray that all the victims can be found and we can conduct a crime scene investigation," he said.

Kombes Susatyo said that his party could not confirm the cause of the fire at the Terra Drone building, Central Jakarta.

"Regarding the cause, the Puslabfor Polri team will investigate it after the evacuation carried out by the firefighters," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the unmanned aircraft (drone) sales building on Terra Drone, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was scorched on Tuesday, December 9, afternoon.

The flames were seen burning the seventh-story building, with thick black smoke rising high. This incident caused panic among residents.

Based on the information gathered, as many as 15 employees were trapped on the top floor of the building.
