President Prabowo Sets 2026 Hajj Fees, Here Are Details Per Embarkation

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto officially issued Presidential Decree Number 34 of 2025 concerning the Cost of Organizing Hajj or BPIH in 1447 Hijri/2026 AD which is sourced from the Cost of Hajj Travel (Bipih) and the value of benefits.

Based on a copy of the Presidential Decree reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 5, the determination of the BPIH was carried out as a follow-up to Law Number 14 of 2025 and Law Number 34 of 2014 concerning Hajj Financial Management.

In the Presidential Decree, the President stipulates the amount of BPIH 2026 for each embarkation, including Aceh Rp78,324,981, Medan Rp79,379,071, Batam Rp87,380,981, Padang Rp81,085,481, Palembang Rp87,422,481, Jakarta (Pondok Gede, Cipondoh, Bekasi) Rp91,758,281, and Solo Rp86,448,981.

Furthermore, Surabaya Rp93,860,981, Balikpapan Rp88,791,481, Banjarmasin Rp88,754,481, Makassar Rp89,108,738, Lombok Rp88,167,381, Kertajati Rp91,774,581 and Yogyakarta Rp86,170,981.

Meanwhile, the amount of the 2026 regular Hajj pilgrims for each embarkation, including Aceh Rp45,109,422, Medan Rp46,163,512, Batam Rp54,125,422, Padang Rp47,869,922, Palembang Rp54,206,922, Jakarta) Pondok Gede, Cipondoh, Bekasi) Rp58,542,722, and Solo Rp53,233,422.

The value of the benefits allocated for regular pilgrims reaches Rp6.69 trillion and is used to cover various service components, such as accommodation, consumption, transportation, services in Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina, protection of pilgrims, congregational development, as well as public services. domestic and Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the value of benefits for special Hajj pilgrims is set at IDR 7.23 billion.

The Presidential Decree also regulates the mechanism for depositing Bipih by regular Hajj pilgrims, regional Hajj officers, and supervisors of the Hajj and Umrah Worship Guidance Group (KBIHU) through the deposit recipient bank appointed by the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH).

In addition, the President gave a mandate to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah to establish further technical provisions regarding the implementation of this decision.

Presidential Decree Number 34 of 2025 comes into effect on the date of stipulation, namely November 13, 2025. The government affirms its commitment to continue to improve the quality of organizing the pilgrimage, both in terms of service, financial accountability, and protection of pilgrims.
