JAKARTA - The police through the National Police Health Center confirmed the identity of the human skeleton found in the Bogor area as Al Faro Kiano Nugroho (6) or Alvaro, biological child Arum Indah Kusumastuti.

This assurance was obtained after a series of forensic examinations, including DNA and odontology tests, were completed by a team of experts from the National Police Health Center.

Head of Bhayangkara Level I Bhayangkara Hospital, Police Health Center, Brigadier General Dr. Prima Heru, said that his party had completed the entire process of identifying the skeleton after receiving the body from the South Jakarta Police.

"Regarding the discovery of the skeleton of a murder victim in the Bogor area suspected of being Al Faro, whose body was taken to the National Police Health Center Level I Hospital, we have completed an examination of the skeleton of the corpse," he told reporters, Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Prima explained, on November 24, 2025, the Forensic Team of Bhayangkara Hospital Level I Pusdokkes Polri identified the framework labeled register number 0062/XI/2025/ML.

On the same day, post-mortem DNA samples of victims and DNA ante-mortem samples from the family were sent to the DNA Lab Bureau of the National Police Health Center.

"The Forensic Ondotology Team of Bhayangkara Hospital Level I of the National Police Health Center has also conducted an examination and estimated the age of the victim based on the jawbone and dental elements found on November 26, 2025, not far from the first discovery," he said.

Thus, based on the test results, the National Police Health Center Level I Hospital stated that the skeleton found belonged to Alvaro.

"Based on the results of DNA and dental examinations, it can be concluded that the framework with registration number 0062/XI/2025/ML is Alvaro Kiano Nugroho, biological child of Arum Indah Kusumastuti," he said.

Furthermore, Prima expressed his deep condolences to the families of the victims and appreciation for the ranks of the South Jakarta Police and all parties involved in handling this case.

"We from the National Police Health Center express our deep condolences for the death of the victim whose body was examined at this hospital," he said.

"We fully sympathize with the families of the victims left behind. May fortitude and strength accompany the family in going through this difficult time," he concluded.

Previously, the DNA testing process on the skeleton suspected to belong to Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6), a boy who had been missing since March 2025, had been completed. The family said the identification results stated that the skeleton matched Alvaro's DNA.

"It seems like that (the results of the DNA test match Alvaro's framework), because we are the family who have been informed like that," he said.

He said that Alvaro's skeleton would be immediately buried after being received by his family from the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

"God willing, tomorrow afternoon the body will return home, we don't know exactly what time," said Arum.
