The Deputy Minister Of Foreign Affairs Said That The Meeting Of Prabowo And The Chairperson Of The Chinese People's Consultative Assembly Would Result In New Cooperation

JAKARTA - Indonesian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (Wamenlu) Arrmanatha Nasir said that the meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) China Wang Huning at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

According to him, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continue to improve bilateral relations between Indonesia and China, which have been well established so far.

"So they are talking about our excellent bilateral cooperation. Earlier, it was re-explained that the commitments of the two countries, the President and also the Speaker of the Chinese Parliament, also said that they are committed to continuing to increase cooperation," said Arrmanatha at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, was confiscated by Antara.

He said the meeting did not result in the signing of a new cooperation. Both Indonesia and China, continued Arrmanatha, both want to continue their strategic partnership commitments.

"Earlier, I only emphasized again what we have done, we are committed to increasing cooperation," he said.

This visit is an important momentum in strengthening strategic relations and bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and China, especially in the field of parliamentary diplomacy and the development of future partnerships.

In addition to meeting President Prabowo, the Chairperson of the Chinese People's Consultative Assembly will also visit the parliament complex in Senayan to meet the leaders of the MPR RI, DPR RI, and DPD RI.

The meeting will be a strategic dialogue space for strengthening relations between legislative institutions, expanding cooperation in economic and socio-cultural partnerships, as well as opportunities for collaboration in regional and global issues.

This visit affirms the commitment of the two countries to build a mutually beneficial future partnership, in line with the vision of regional stability and people's welfare.
