Today The Prosecutor's Office Examines 17 Witnesses Investigating The Gratification Of The NTB DPRD, A Total Of 45 People Have Been Examined

JAKARTA - A total of 45 witnesses underwent examination in the investigation of the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati NTB) regarding the alleged gratification case within the NTB Provincial House of Representatives (DPRD) which has named three suspects.

"If it is calculated from Monday (1 December) to today, there are a total of 45 people," said Assistant for Special Crimes at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Muh. Zulkifli Said in Mataram, Wednesday, was confiscated by Antara.

From the results of the details of the prosecutor's investigators, on Monday (1 December) there were 15 witnesses who were present. Furthermore, on Tuesday (December 2), there were 13 witnesses.

"Today 17 people are being investigated," he said.

Of the dozens of witnesses who were present, Zulkifli said that not only from the legislative members, there were also witnesses from the executive and third parties.

"So, (the witness) interfered. Today (the third party) does not yet exist," he said.

Including the wife of the suspect Indra Jaya Usman alias IJU, who is the former chairman of the West Lombok DPRD, Nurhidayah.

Zulkifli said the person concerned was examined on Tuesday (December 2) as a witness.

He explained that the examination of dozens of witnesses in a marathon was part of the investigators' efforts to complete the case files belonging to the three suspects.

"So, they were called in to complete the file and re-examine the detention of the three people," he said.

The three suspects who have been detained other than IJU are Hamdan Kasim alias HK and Muhammad Nashib Ikroman alias MNI.

For MNI, he is undergoing detention at the Praya Detention Center, Central Lombok Regency. Meanwhile, two other suspects were entrusted to the Class II A Prison in West Lombok.

The three suspects are suspected of playing a role as giving money to dozens of members of the NTB DPRD with a total exceeding Rp2 billion.

The nominal value of the money was revealed from a series of investigations. The prosecutor received the deposit from dozens of members of the NTB DPRD.
