The Directorate of Drug Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has taken over the handling of drug cases related to the rape incident committed by an online taxi driver with the initials FG (49), against a female passenger with the initials NG (30) in Tangerang.

The team consisted of the NIC Task Force led by KBP Zulkarnain Harahap and KBP Awaludin Amin, as well as personnel from Sub-Directorate IV led by KBP Handik Zusen.
"The Joint Team has now secured several people suspected of being linked to a drug trafficking syndicate that supplies methamphetamine to FG suspects," he said.

Previously, the Tangerang City Metro Police arrested an online taxi driver with the initials FG (49) who was suspected of raping and molesting a female passenger with the initials NG (30). The police found a package of methamphetamine during the search.
Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Raden Muhammad Jauhari said that when he arrested the perpetrator, the police found methamphetamine in the perpetrator's wallet.
The perpetrator had consumed drugs the day before raping the passenger.
