Jakut Police Provide Psychological Assistance To Victims Of Sexual Violence By Ayaah Kandung

JAKARTA - K (16), the initials of a woman who was a victim of sexual intercourse by her biological father until she was 6 months pregnant, was traumatized by what happened to her.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar, said that to restore the victim's condition, his party would provide psychological assistance.

"We ensure that the victim gets psychological assistance and protection during the legal process," said Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar when confirmed, Thursday, November 27.

The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) ensnared the suspect with the initials FH with Article 81 and/or 82 of the Child Protection Law, with the threat of maximum punishment as stipulated by law.

"The filing process has been running and will soon be transferred to the Public Prosecutor (JPU)," he said.

This case was revealed after an official report was made to the North Jakarta Metro Police on November 15, 2025.

The victim admitted that she had repeatedly been a victim of sexual violence by FH perpetrators since April 2025. The perpetrators launched an action at their home in the West Pademangan area.

From this act, the victim is known to be six months pregnant.

"Investigators from the PPA Unit have secured a number of evidences, including the results of the post-mortem and the victim's clothes. The examination of witnesses has also been carried out," he said.

The suspect FH is known to work as a casual daily laborer in his daily life. The suspect is currently still being investigated in-depth.

This case adds to the list of reports of violence against children handled by the North Jakarta Metro Police.

The police urge the public to immediately report if they know of allegations of domestic violence or sexual abuse of children.
