1,598 Ecstasy Points Secured From A Dealer In Gambir

Polda Metro Jaya arrested drug dealer with the initials A on Monday, November 24, 2025 at around 16.40 WIB on Jalan Setia Kawan Raya, Gambir, Central Jakarta. A total of 1,598 ecstasy narcotics items were secured.

Acting Head of Sub-Directorate 1, Iptu Ahmad Huda, said that the arrest began with public information regarding narcotics trafficking activities, the Metro Jaya Police's Narcotics Directorate team then conducted a search and arrested the perpetrators.

"We secured suspect A in the Gambir area, Central Jakarta with evidence of 1,598 ecstasy items stored in a bag of the perpetrator and the perpetrator's cellphone," he told the media, Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Based on the initial examination, suspect A admitted that he received the ecstasy from a person with the initials T, who is now on the wanted list (DPO).

"Investigators are still working on the network to uncover the role of T and the possible involvement of other parties," he explained.

Furthermore, suspect A and all evidence have been secured to the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police for further investigation.

"The suspect and all evidence were secured at the Metro Police's Narcotics Directorate for further investigation," he concluded.
