Forensic Police Hospital Check Alvaro's Body

JAKARTA - The Kramat Jati Police Hospital (RS) has begun to carry out a series of examinations of Alvaro's body which was previously handed over to the forensic authorities for the identification process.

"We are currently in the process of identifying Alvaro's body," said Head of the National Police Hospital Brigadier General Prima Heru Yulih, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, November 24.

The examination includes stages of external and internal examination, as well as preparations for DNA sampling.

"That's right, currently an external and internal examination is being carried out," said Prima.

He said the National Police Hospital received Alvaro's body on Monday, November 24, at around 00.45 WIB.

The external and internal examination is an initial procedure that must be carried out by the forensic team of the National Police Hospital to determine the condition of the body, confirm the alleged cause of death, as well as become the basis for DNA sampling and other laboratory examinations.

Until this news was published, the identification process was still ongoing and the Police Hospital had not yet submitted the results or estimates of the examination time.

Previously, the police found Alvaro, who had been missing since March 2025 at Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, who was in a state of death in Cilalay River, Bogor, West Java.

Alvaro is thought to have been found in a skeleton state, which will then be confirmed by the police through a DNA test.

Alvaro has been missing for eight months. His whereabouts have been undetected since Thursday, March 6, 2025.

The police have revealed that the perpetrator of the murder was the stepfather of the boy.

"The perpetrator is his stepfather Alvaro," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters in Jakarta, Monday.

He explained that the police had arrested the perpetrator, then found the skeleton suspected of being Alvaro.
