Pascaledakan SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading Police Distribute Hundreds Of Roses And Chocolate Flowers In 4 Schools

JAKARTA - Kelapa Gading Police build empathy by distributing 800 white and 800 brown roses to students at 4 high schools and SMK in the Kelapa Gading area after the explosion that occurred at SMAN 72 Jakarta on Monday, November 17, 2025.

The distribution of rose and brown flowers to school students is a symbol of the message of tolerance, togetherness, compassion, and rejection of violence.

Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Kompol Seto Handoko Putra, invites students to be more empathetic and sensitive to each other.

The police also invited students to create positive energy to build a golden generation with character.

"At SMAN 45, the distribution of flowers and chocolate is carried out for students who have just arrived at the school gate," said Kompol Seto when confirmed, Monday, November 17.

Meanwhile at Penabur Intercultural School and NJIS, activities are carried out in areas within schools until they enter classes that are currently in the process of learning. As for SMK March 11, officers visited students from class to class.

Kompol Seto explained that this activity was carried out in commemoration of International Student Day which is every November 17 as a tribute to the tragedy that befell Students in Prague in 1969.
