JAKARTA - The Mataram District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTb) has named a member of the West Lombok DPRD with the initials AZ along with two state civil servants (ASN) with the initials DD and MZ as suspects in the alleged corruption case of basic thought funds (pokir) in 2024.
"The three suspects were named along with another person from the private sector with the initials R," said Head of the Mataram Kejari Gde Made Pasek Swardhyana in Mataram, Friday, confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the suspect in this case was suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption in the realization of the Pokir funds related to spending on goods for the community by distributing them through the Social Service (Dinsos) of West Lombok Regency.
"So, the results of the investigation have been exposed and received approval from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Indonesian Attorney General's Office on November 10, 2025," he said.
The determination of the suspect also refers to the provisions of the Circular Letter of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 01/A/JA/02/2019, dated February 21, 2019, concerning the Control of Corruption Cases involving suspects from regional officials and the DPR.
The determination of the suspect is strengthened by evidence from the audit results of the calculation of state financial losses from the West Lombok Inspectorate with a value of Rp. 1.77 billion.
"Losses arise due to alleged mark-ups and fictitious shopping," he said.
The suspects in this case are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 or Article 12 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 for amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Following up on the determination, the prosecutor's office has just detained suspects AZ and R. For two other suspects, namely DD and MZ are still on a follow-up agenda.
"We have detained the AZ and R starting today in West Lombok Prison. For DD and MZ, they will be summoned later," he said.
