JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) will hold the XI National Conference (Munas) at the Mercure Ancol Hotel, Jakarta, on 20-23 November 2025, which is a grand event every five years.
MUI Head for Infokom KH Masduki Baidlowi said President Prabowo Subianto was scheduled to attend and at the same time open the congress.

The spokesman for the 13th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia said that Prabowo's plan to attend was previously conveyed by Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.
To Masduki, the Minister of Defense told him before leaving for Australia through Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, East Jakarta, President Prabowo expressed his desire to attend the XI MUI National Conference.
According to him, the presence of the President in the National Conference is important, considering that this activity will determine the direction of the MUI and the public for the next five years.
"Because this is a five-year event, yes, for the people. And there are also important programs regarding leadership that will be determined next," he said.
The MUI National Conference will be attended by around 400 participants from all over the country. In addition to determining the new leadership, a number of leadership meeting sessions on various important topics regarding the community will also be formulated.
"Then the most important thing is for three days we will talk about various important ideas in the community," he said.
