Roy Suryo Cs Doesn't Talk Much After Being Examined At Polda Metro

JAKARTA - Former Minister of Youth and Sports Roy Suryo finished undergoing examination as a suspect at the Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday, November 13, 2025 night. After leaving the examination room, Roy did not give much information to the media crew. He also expressed his gratitude to the team of lawyers and supporters who were present.

"God willing, we will disperse tonight well. Thank you to Polda Metro Jaya, thank you to all who have been with us tonight," said Roy at Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Not only Roy, digital forensic expert Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar and Tifauzia Tyassuma or Doctor Tiffa are also scheduled to undergo examination on the same day.

Unlike Roy, Rismon chose not to give any statement regarding his examination.

"There is no statement first," he said.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the three suspects, Refly Harun, said that the investigation went smoothly and investigators were cooperative.

"Alhamdulillah, investigators are being kind. Mas Roy, Rismon, and Doctor Tifa are also cooperative," said Refly.

Refly said that there are a number of technical matters that will be discussed further, so that for now he alone represents providing information.

"There are technical things that we will discuss in the future. So it's enough for me to represent it," he said.

He was grateful that the three of them were not detained even though they were charged with a fairly serious threat.

"Alhamdulillah, at least today they are not detained. Even though we know the articles that are subject to threats up to 12 years, namely Article 35 of the ITE Law," he continued.

According to Refly, the investigator's decision not to detain the suspects will provide an opportunity for them to rest and remain productive.

"By not being detained, Mas Roy will be more productive, can think, write, and so on. Let them cool down, use their right to calm down again," he said

"Hopefully our struggle remains in a constitutional way," he concluded.

Previously, investigators from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police decided not to detain the suspects Roy Suryo, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, and Dr. Tiffa, in the alleged case of spreading false information related to the diploma of former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

This right was revealed by the Director of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Iman Imanuddin. He said the three had been allowed to return home.

"After this, we allow the three suspects to return to their respective homes," he said.
