JAKARTA - The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has affirmed its commitment to supporting and realizing President Prabowo Subianto's Fastest Best Results (PHTC) program in the education sector. Since its launch, coinciding with National Education Day 2025, the PHTC for Revitalizing Educational Units has brought new hope to Indonesian education.

"We demonstrate this commitment through our achievements exceeding our target. From the initial target of 9,429 schools, we have now reached 14,071 beneficiary schools," said the Director General of Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education, Gogot Suharwoto, on Tuesday, November 11.

Similar achievements were also achieved by the Directorate General of Vocational Education, Special Education, and Special Service Education, which successfully exceeded its target of 982 to 2,000 schools.

"With the PHTC for Revitalizing Educational Units, we hope that Indonesian education will have a strong foundation in terms of infrastructure. The learning process can be safe, comfortable, and enjoyable, thereby improving student achievement," added Gogot.

This program not only impacts education but also the local economy. The self-management scheme and community participation ensure that school construction simultaneously creates jobs and stimulates the regional economy.

"School revitalization is not just about constructing buildings, but also creating schools that are safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for all," Gogot emphasized.

Public support for the PHTC for Revitalizing Education Units is widespread. According to the Indo Strategi survey, the Ministry of Education and Culture ranked first among the top ministries with a score of 3.35 points.

The Arus Survei Indonesia (ASI) survey also recorded a positive assessment of the program by 78.4%. 29.3% believed PHTC resulted in a better learning environment, 22.2% felt learning spaces were safer and more comfortable, and 19.8% saw an improvement in the quality of education.

Research by the University of Indonesia's Center for Community Empowerment (P3M) confirms this finding, with a positive public perception rating of 96.0%-98.7%, indicating that the program's implementation has been very successful.

Furthermore, social media analysis by Drone Emprit shows positive public sentiment reaching 95%, thanks to above-target achievements, a transparent self-management system, and a tangible contribution to employment.
