Polda Metro Jaya conveyed the results of CCTV checks on SMAN 72 Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, on the day of the explosion last Friday. CCTV in the school environment recorded a moment when students of the SMAN 72 explosion changed uniforms and carried toy weapons to the mosque.

Diressiber Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Roberto Pasaribu explained that the perpetrator arrived at school at 06.28 WIB carrying a red bag and a blue bag that was carried.

"When CCTV showed it at 07.28, actually the actual time or real time was 06.28.04, it was the child who was in conflict with the law or with the child, entered the school gate of SMAN 72 Jakarta wearing a school uniform by carrying a red backpack and carrying a blue bag on his left hand, and wearing black shoes and walking to the left of the camera," he told the media at Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Roberto explained that the students of the explosion headed to the corridor of the school principal's room and met the woman suspected of being a school teacher. CCTV footage then shows the child's movements before Friday prayers. The perpetrators of the explosion headed towards the mosque with a red back bag.

When crossing the hallway of the first floor to the east of two which was recorded with channel 30, the child passed wearing a red back bag on the footwear. So, this is already 11.43 real time, meaning ahead of the implementation of worship activities at that time," he said.

"Then on the inside, there were black pants that appeared or were seen from the outside less and he headed towards the mosque's place of worship. And this is also the starting point when we enter Channel 06 in front of the mosque, so Channel A06 in front of the mosque, there is only 1 CCTV that covers, that the child enters the mosque wearing a school uniform carrying a red bag," he continued.

Furthermore, by wearing school uniforms and carrying a red bag, the child entered the mosque. Still based on CCTV exposure, the child monitors the situation outside and inside the mosque.

"So bring the red bag inside. Then it can still be seen that the person concerned is monitoring the situation inside and outside. So at that time he was just standing near the pole, still covered by the existing camera," he said again.

"When CCTV 12,44 or the real time was 11,44.15, it was still on channel 30, it was seen that the child entered the door of the mosque at the front. Now this was no longer covered at that time," he continued.

When entering 12.05 WIB, the child was observed to have removed his uniform. He is said to be wearing black pants and a white shirt towards the mosque while carrying a toy weapon.

"At the time of CCTV that was covered, at 11.57 or the actual time was 12.05, the child had removed his uniform and was seen heading towards the hallway, towards the mosque wearing black pants, white T-shirts, and carrying a toy gun or dumpmy. So it was seen on CCTV. Then his direction was directed towards the mosque, "he explained

"At the actual time of 12.05.51, it covered from Channel 06 in front of the mosque, that there was a red light coming out of the mosque accompanied by an explosion and emitting white smoke," he said.
