Polda Metro Jaya will release the disclosure of the bomb explosion case that occurred at SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta (Jakut), on Friday, November 7.

"This afternoon around 15.00 WIB, the explosion of SMAN 72 Jakarta will be released," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto to the media, Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

The disclosure of this case will be led directly by the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri.

"He was led directly by the Kapolda at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters," he said.

The disclosure of this explosion case is expected to be carried out in a transparent and accountable manner in order to answer various speculations that develop in society.

It is known that the explosion incident occurred in the SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Friday 7 November 2025, afternoon.

The homemade bomb exploded at the time the Friday prayer imam was giving a sermon at the SMAN 72 Mosque. The explosion resulted in dozens of people being injured. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and some were taken to the school health unit.

The National Police's Anti-terror Special Detachment (Densus) 88 revealed that the bomb that exploded at SMAN 72 North Jakarta was assembled by the alleged perpetrator. This was conveyed by Densus 88 Spokesperson, AKBP Mayndra Eka Wardhana.
