JAKARTA - Fully armed Brimob personnel are still on guard in front of the gate of SMA Negeri 72 Jakarta which is inside the Indonesian Navy Complex, Kodamar, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Friday, November 7, evening, after the explosion that occurred.

A unit of Gegana's Brimob Corps car that reads "Bom Technique" is also still parked on the right side of the fence of the SMAN 72 Jakarta building.

From VOI's observation at the location, while the access to Jalan Prihatin, RT 08/02, Kelapa Gading Barat Village, is still closed.

Local residents were unable to cross the access road in front of the TKP school building, the explosion. At the end of the road, the joint TNI - Polri officers are also still guarding it.

As of Friday night, there has been no official statement provided by joint TNI and Polri officers who are at the location. Meanwhile, the Gegana team is still in the school.

The explosion that occurred at the SMAN 72 Mosque in Jakarta had caused a stir among a number of residents on Jalan Prihatin, RT 08/02, Kelapa Gading Barat Village, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta.

"The sound of the explosion was big, it reads once but it's big. That's a bomb," said ER (25), one of the residents living around SMAN 72 Jakarta to VOI, Friday, November 7, noon.

ER said the incident was heard during Friday prayers.

"It happened on Friday. After the bomb was heard, there were two gunshots," he said.

After the sound of a bomb explosion followed by two gunshots, ER also tried to find the source of the sound.

However, when he left his house, ER saw that a number of SMAN 72 students had run from inside the school area.
