Again, BNN RI Raids Kampung Bahari Narcotics Headquarters, Residents Group Gives Resistance

JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) again raided the Kampung Bahari area, North Jakarta on Friday, November 7, 2025, morning.

The raid was the result of the development of previous arrests in the area on Wednesday 5 November and Ambon Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Thursday 6 November.

This raid is a series of developments from a network of narcotics dealers who have spread in the Jakarta area.

Again, the raids carried out by the joint BNN and Brimob Polri officers again received resistance from residents.

Several groups of residents suspected of being part of a drug network in the Kampung Bahari area fought officers by firing firecrackers.

Meanwhile, BNN personnel continued to conduct sweeps along the railroad tracks in Kampung Bahari despite resistance from groups of drug dealers.

There has been no official statement from the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency regarding the Friday morning raid in the Kampung Bahari area, North Jakarta.

Previously, it was reported that the Director of Enforcement and Pursuit of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency, Brigadier General Roy Hardi Siahaan, emphasized that his party was still developing a number of drug dealers who were arrested in Kampung Bahari, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

"So far we have secured several people, they are in development. Currently we will develop them. Is the classification of this person as a user or as a dealer," said Brigadier General Roy, Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

He said that the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency and the National Police continued to take firm action against the increasingly massive circulation of narcotics in Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta.

"We together with the National Police take action against activities carried out in the Kampung Bahari area," he said.

"So this is an order from the Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency together with the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, conveying an activity to take action against several points that are allegedly in areas prone to drugs. Now the current point is Kampung Bahari," he added.
