A Positive Father Of Methamphetamine, Invites A Child To Steal RSV Helem In Tanjung Priok

JAKARTA - A father and son were arrested by the Tanjung Priok Police after being arrested by residents when they were caught stealing a helmet on Jalan Swasembada Timur XVIII, Kebon Bawang Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta.

The two perpetrators are known to have the initials MS (43) father and AS (12) son. The father and son were previously arrested by residents while stealing the shelem of the RSV New Windtail Black belonging to the victim WR.

Tanjung Priok Police Chief Kompol R. Sigit said the incident occurred when the victim was buying meatballs and left a block on his motorbike mirror.

"The victim only realized that he was missing after arriving home," said Kompol Sigit when contacted, Wednesday, November 5.

The victim then checked CCTV around the scene.

Based on CCTV footage around the location, it was seen that the two perpetrators were taking the helem. The victim then reported the incident to the police.

The victim and his partner then traced the traces of the perpetrators through CCTV footage. As a result, the victim and his partner found the two at a shop in the Tanjung Priok area.

The perpetrator then received a blow from local residents. For further processing, the perpetrator was then taken to the Tanjung Priok Police.

Kompol Sigit said, from the results of the examination, MS perpetrators were found to be positive for amphetamine after undergoing a urine test.

"The perpetrator MS admitted that he had consumed methamphetamine," he said.

The perpetrator MS was then sent to a narcotics addict rehabilitation center. Meanwhile, the child of the perpetrator with the initials AS was sent to a social institution belonging to the Social Service. Meanwhile, the case is still being handled by the Tanjung Priok Police.
